July 3, 2009 - Summit Convenient Care at Lebanon welcomes two local nurse practitioners. Maribeth Follmer of Mt. Juliet and Rachel McHenry of Lebanon are pleased to serve their communities' medical needs at Summit Convenient Care at Lebanon.
Maribeth Follmer earned both her Bachelor in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin. She is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and she is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Follmer has served as a Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner at several healthcare facilities including Columbia Hospital in Milwaukee, WI; however, Follmer is delighted to be settled in the Mt. Juliet/Lebanon area, where her talents can be used to serve her community.
Rachel McHenry earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from the University of Mississippi and her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. McHenry is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and she has extensive nursing experience at several reputable medical centers, including Vanderbilt University Medical Center and Centennial Medical Center.
Summit Convenient Care at Lebanon provides treatment for minor injury or illness that needs medical attention, but does not require emergency room service; medical care after normal business hours and on weekends; and care from specially trained nurse practitioners. Minor ailments like the flu, allergic reactions, strep throat, and minor fractures and wounds are treated on a walk-in basis at a cost that is less than a trip to a hospital emergency room. School and sports physicals are also offered at the facility.
Summit Convenient Care at Lebanon is open Monday through Friday 11:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The facility is located in the new Physicians Plaza of Lebanon building at 100 Physicians Way, Suite 110, just off I-40 at South Hartmann Drive in Lebanon.
