(HERMITAGE, TN) February 11, 2015 - Sarah Cannon at TriStar Summit announced today that it has been named a Screening Center of Excellence by the Lung Cancer Alliance (LCA) for their ongoing commitment to responsible lung cancer screening. When implemented safely, efficiently and equitably, low dose CT screening for lung cancer has the ability to save thousands of lives through early detection.

Sarah Cannon at TriStar Summit has been recognized for ensuring best practices developed by the American College of Radiology (ACR), the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) and the International Early Lung Cancer Action Program (I-ELAP) for controlling screening quality, radiation dose and diagnostic procedures within an experienced, multi-disciplinary clinical setting.
