Sept. 19, 2011; Hermitage, Tenn.: Summit Medical Center and Wilson Living will host an entertaining and informational Women’s Health Expo on Saturday, October 1 from 8 a.m. - Noon at Summit Medical Center. The event is specifically designed to offer women valuable information about the latest in health information in addition to fun activities such as massages, fitness demonstrations, door prizes and more!
“As women, we are always looking for ways to maximize our time, and we often end up neglecting ourselves in the process,” said Taylor Blackwell, community outreach coordinator for Summit Medical Center. “This event allows women to pamper themselves, enjoy time with friends and meet new people, all while obtaining health information that could profoundly impact their overall health and the health of their family members.”
Health education, screenings and a fashion show will be woven throughout the four-hour event to emphasize the importance of relaxing, rejuvenating and re-educating women on common health issues affecting them today. Besides these important educational segments, the day will also include screenings such as: Vein & Vascular, Bone Density, Allergy Testing, door prizes and much more! In addition, refreshments will be provided and the first 100 women will receive a FREE tote bag with a free appetizer to Demos’s restaurant!
