Hermitage, Tenn. (January 28, 2019) - Last Friday, TriStar Summit Medical Center held a "Topping Off" ceremony officially moving the 8th floor expansion into its next phase. This ceremony consisted of blessing and raising the final steel beam into place.
The 8th floor expansion will provide an additional 25 patient medical/telemetry patient rooms, a classroom/conference room, 2 charting stations on each hallway and additional storage.
Staff were able to sign their name to the beam for a couple weeks prior to ceremony.
Completion of the project is targeted Fall 2019.
