HERMITAGE, TN — TriStar Summit Medical Center recently announced the recipients of the 2018 Frist Humanitarian Award presented annually to a physician, employee and volunteer who exhibit the highest standard of patient care to our patients. TriStar Summit Medical Center 2018 recipients include: Dr. G. Lee Bryant, ENT/Otolaryngology, Jon Alderman, RN in surgical services and Mary MacLennan, hospital volunteer.

The Frist Humanitarian Award was created to recognize one physician, one employee, one volunteer at each HCA facility who demonstrate extraordinary concern for the welfare and happiness of patients and their community.  The Award was named after the humanitarian spirit and philanthropic work of the late Dr. Thomas F. Frist, Sr., a founder of Hospital Corporation of America.
