TriStar Summit will join other HCA facilities to host "Crush the Crisis" opioid prescription take-back events at each facility. This event will take place September 7, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
As caregivers and members of the HCA Healthcare family, we are committed to helping bring awareness to the dangers of opioid addiction and the importance of proper disposal. "Crush the Crisis" take-back events provide an opportunity for our community to properly dispose of unused medication anonymously with no questions asked.
Beginning at 10 a.m., uniformed local law enforcement officers will join our hospital volunteers to assist with the collection of tablets, capsules and patches of Hydrocodone (Norco, Lortab, Vicodin), Oxycodone (Oxycontin, Percocet), Tramadol (Ultram), Codeine, Fentanyl (Duragesic), Morphine, Hydromorphone (Dilaudid) and Oxymorphone (Opana). We will not be able to accept needles, syringes, lancets or liquids.
