HCA Nurse Residency

TriStar Summit’s nurse residency, backed by its parent company, HCA Healthcare, hones clinical skills and provides nursing growth opportunities for new nurse graduates. HCA TriStar Division’s 12-month training program combines classroom education, hands-on simulation learning and paired mentorship with a TriStar Summit nurse.

Unit-Based Council

Our nurses have a voice in impacting patient safety and quality decisions through TriStar Summit’s unit-based councils. Nursing specialties meet together to provide collective knowledge and influence in patient care across all TriStar Summit services.

Director Development Program

HCA Healthcare prepares nurse leaders in emergency and surgical care to transition to director-level roles. TriStar Summit nurses participating have the opportunity to network with program alumni to support ongoing professional mentorship.

CNO Development Program

HCA Healthcare also offers a one year executive development program for nursing leaders to transition to chief nursing officers. While enrolled in the CNO program, the nurse will assume the role of an associate chief nursing officer on the hospital administration team.
